This policy explains how we handle personal data on planet-maldives.com. We keep it short because the website itself does very little with your data: it has one enquiry form, it uses no cookies, and it does not track you.
1. Who is responsible
Planet Maldives is a registered brand of BensonFlow Real Estate L.L.C., Dubai, United Arab Emirates ("we", "us"). We are the controller of the personal data described in this policy.

2. What we collect
When you send the enquiry form
- Your full name and email address (required).
- Your phone or WhatsApp number, country of residence, the number of villas you are interested in, your preferred meeting format and your message (all optional), and the language in which you use the website.
- Your consent to be contacted, the date and time of the request, your IP address and your browser type. We use these to confirm the request is genuine and to protect the form against abuse.
When you visit the website
Like every web server, ours records technical data for each page request: IP address, date and time, the page requested, the referring page and the browser type. These server logs are used only to operate and secure the website.
When you email or call us
We receive the details you choose to share, such as your contact details and the content of your message.
3. What we do not do
- We do not use cookies, analytics, advertising pixels or social media plug-ins on this website.
- If you pick a language, or decline the suggestion to switch language, your browser remembers this choice in its local storage. It stays on your device, is never sent to us, and you can delete it at any time in your browser settings.
- All fonts, scripts and images are served from our own server, so visiting the website does not send your data to Google or any other third party.
- We do not sell your personal data.

For visitors in the United Arab Emirates, we process personal data in line with the UAE Personal Data Protection Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021).
5. Who receives your data
- Our team at BensonFlow Real Estate L.L.C., to answer your enquiry.
- Islanders Group, the developer and managing partner of the villas. When you ask for the agreement, villa availability or a presentation, we may share your contact details and request with them so they can prepare your documentation.
- Hetzner Online GmbH, Germany, which hosts our web and email servers.
- Our legal, tax and professional advisers, and public authorities, where this is necessary or required by law.
6. Where your data is stored
Enquiries and server logs are stored on our servers in Germany, in the European Union. Our team in the United Arab Emirates and the developer, Islanders Group, may access them from outside the EU. Where we transfer personal data outside the EU, EEA or UK, we do so because the transfer is necessary to take the steps you requested, or on the basis of appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
7. How long we keep it
- Enquiries: up to 24 months after our last contact with you, unless you become an investor, in which case the retention periods in your agreement and applicable law apply.
- Server logs: 10 days.
- Records used to limit repeated form submissions: 1 hour.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you can ask us to:
- give you a copy of your personal data;
- correct or complete it;
- delete it, or restrict how we use it;
- stop using it for a purpose based on our legitimate interests;
- send it to you or another organisation in a portable format.
You can withdraw your consent at any time by writing to invest@planet-maldives.com. This does not affect anything we did before you withdrew it. You also have the right to complain to the data protection authority in the country where you live or work.
9. Security
The website is served over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection. Enquiries are stored outside the public part of the web server, with access limited to the people who need it, and they are emailed to our team over an encrypted connection.
10. Children
This website is intended for adult investors. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our website or our processing changes. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.
